Kids Can't Fly was an English pop-punk ensemble from Southampton established in May 2006. The group consisted of the musicians Robin Black, Tom Dowd, Dan Parkinson, Dave Matthews, Scott Wilson, and Chris Booroff. They achieved professional recognition for a musical style characterized by ska pop-punk and reggae influences. The ensemble was founded by the musicians Ryan Stanikk and Matthews. Their recording career began with the debut extended play The Take Off EP (2006). Kids Can't Fly achieved professional recognition for the song "Everyone" (2010) which reached Number 1 on the Scuzz TV Most Requested chart. Their discography included the extended play No Joy for the Jealous (2007) and the extended play Strength in Numbers (2010). The ensemble achieved professional recognition for releasing the double A-side single "She Called Shotgun / Heartstrong" (2010). Their recording career included the extended play Northern Horizons (2012) which was produced by the musician Romesh Dodangoda. The ensemble became inactive in 2014.
