Ryan Keen, born in Totnes, United Kingdom, is a British singer, songwriter, and guitarist. After completing secondary education, he studied Commercial Music at the University of Westminster before launching his solo career in 2009. In 2010 he released the EP Aiming for the Sun, followed by a performance at SXSW that led to a contract with the indie label Imagem. Keen opened for acts such as Sunrise Avenue, Ed Sheeran, Plan B, and Leona Lewis, and toured the United Kingdom and Europe in 2012, appearing at festivals including Redfest and Bestival. His debut album Room for Light was issued on 1 April 2014 and entered the Swiss and UK Top 100 album charts briefly. Subsequent EPs-Focus (2012) and Back to the Ocean (2013)-expanded his catalog.
