Drummer trained in improvisation alongside Andy «Emler» and André Charlier, Benjamin Naud possesses a curiosity which also drives him towards a degree in classical musicology, a course in Jazz and current music at the Conservatory of Toulouse and at the Centerof Music Didier Lockwood. Along with this solid theo- retical background, his thirst for experience quickly brought him on the road, accompanying both blues, Afrobeat and folk groups, including Grand Causse. He became drummer for the Lorenzo Naccarato Trio in 2012, with whom he recorded two albums on the Laborie Jazz label and toured in many countries. He also works with many musicians including Julian & Roman Wasserfuhr or Benjamin Bobenrieth more recently. Long interested in writing, he is now developing his own com- positions in a project in his name.
