Ego-Wrappin' is a Japanese jazz and rock duo formed in Osaka in 1996, comprising vocalist Yoshie Nakano and guitarist Masaki Mori. The duo released their debut EP Calling Me in 1996 and their English-language debut studio album Blue Speaker in 1998 on RD Records. Ego-Wrappin' achieved national recognition with their 2000 cabaret-style single “Midnight Dejavu (Shikisai no Blues)”, which was inspired by 1960s jazz singer Mina Aoe and sold over 193,000 copies in Japan.
