Pascal Sangla, born in 1981 in Bayonne, France, is a pianist, composer, and actor. He began his musical journey at the Conservatoire à rayonnement régional de Bayonne. In 2010, he released his first album Une petite pause, marking the start of his career as an auteur-compositeur-interprète. Sangla's compositions have been featured in various theatrical productions and films. His notable works include the music for Molière’s Le Misanthrope (2005) at the Comédie-Française, and collaborations with Daniel San Pedro on plays such as Le Petit-Maître corrigé. In 2014, he composed the score for Jeanne Herry's film Elle l'adore. He received a nomination for the César Award for Best Original Music for his work on Pupille (2019) and won the Prix du meilleur compositeur de musique de scène from the Syndicat de la critique in 2021-2022 for Andando Lorca 1936.
