Catchy and ready to rock! The Wild Blue is a indierock band from Eindhoven that started off as a solo DIY project in 2011 by musician Jasper de Moor after the breakup of his old Indie-rock band 'You Me And the TV'. In an effort to preserve the bands' songs from being lost forever, de Moor got into DIY recording. In 2023 The Wild Blue became a full fledged band with the inclusion of de Moor’s old bandmates René Vaes and Stijn Fuchs (You Me And The TV) on guitars and bass respectfully, as well as Colin Dekkers (Sylvie Stone, Chasing Luci) on Drums. They have been writing, performing and recording ever since and are looking forward to releasing new material as a band. Their music includes themes of hope and a desire to ‘live where the sun always shines’, but also explores some heavier themes such as social anxiety and feeling disconnected from modern society.
Musically The Wild Blue draw inspiration from a wide area of artists such as Kings of Leon, Foo Fighters or Belgian outfit dEUS but also in their more laid-back songs drawing from such artists as José Gonzalez and Jack Johnson.
