Eye of the Enemy is a death metal band from Melbourne, Australia formed in 2006 by vocalist Julian Detar, guitarist Chris Kane, and drummer Taran Parker‑Brown. The band released a self-titled EP in 2008, and later signed with Just Say Rock Records. Their album, Weight of Redemption, appeared in 2010 and was followed by a tour. The Vengeance Paradox was issued in 2014 under Rockstar Records; the band toured Australia and Asia and signed with Swimming With Sharks Records. In 2019, they released Titan through Art Is War Records, featuring singles "Clay" and "Abrasive Turns of Phrases".
