Birdcloud, a country music duo consisting of Makenzie Green and Jasmin Kaset, formed in 2010 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The pair met while attending Middle Tennessee State University in 2009 and quickly began performing live shows together. Their debut EP Birdcloud was released in 2011, followed by notable singles like "Cool Christmas" (2011) and "Fuck You Cop" (2012). The duo gained attention for their unique performance style, facing each other rather than the audience. They released several EPs, including One More Again (2012), Effortless (2013), and Tetnis (2015), before releasing their first full-length album, Singles Only, in 2016. Birdcloud toured extensively across the United States, Europe, and Australia. After a hiatus starting in 2018, the group reactivated their social media accounts in January 2020.
