Baskervilles, a pop, rock, and indie group, was formed in New York City in 1997 and consisted of Christoph Gerozissis, Rob Keith, Stephanie Finucane and Craig Van Orsdale. They emerged from an earlier Tampa‑based band, the Baskervils, founded in 1993. Their breakthrough came with the 2003 self‑titled debut, released on Secret Crush Records and produced by Mitch Easter, featuring the single "After Work". Collaborations included a split track with Autoparty, and a 2003 appearance at Sin‑e’ for a Secret Crush compilation. The group followed with Midnight (2005), touring the west coast, and the 2008 album Twilight, distributed after a 14‑month free‑download campaign.
