Bitch Queens

Bitch Queens is a Swiss punk-rock band from Basel. The group was initially formed in 2000 under the name Hot Cut-Up Pancake & the Grannies On Flying Wheelchairs by school friends Melchior Quitt, Harry Darling, Dan Solbach, and David Atwood. They were subsequently renamed Bitch Queens in 2008. They recorded two demo albums in 2004 and 2007, as well as the EP High Strung, before releasing their debut album Female Shotgun in 2010. In 2014, they released Kill Your Friends, which was highly praised by reviewers. The band was nominated for the Basler Pop-Preis in 2015 and toured extensively, including Japan. Their subsequent albums L.O.V.E. (2017) and City Of Class (2019) further solidified their presence in the punk-rock scene.
