Trettioåriga Kriget, a progressive rock band from Saltsjöbaden, Stockholm, Sweden, was formed in 1970 by Stefan Fredin and Olle Thörnvall during their high school years. The band initially consisted of six members, including Dag Lundquist and Johan Gullberg. Their name, inspired by the Thirty Years' War, reflected a powerful and Swedish identity. Trettioåriga Kriget signed with CBS Records and released their self-titled debut album in 1974, followed by Krigssång in 1975. The group underwent several lineup changes, notably the addition of Mats Lindberg in 1977, and released albums such as Hej På Er! (1978) and Mot Alla Odds (1979). After Robert Zima's departure in 1979, the band temporarily shortened their name to Kriget and released the album Kriget in 1981 before disbanding. Trettioåriga Kriget reunited in 2003, releasing albums like Elden Av År (2004) and I början och slutet (2007). Their album, Seaside Air, was released in 2016.
