ILHA (meaning ISLAND in English) was idealized in 2011 by the songwriter, guitarrist and singer Vini Andrade but it only came to life in 2019 with Fábio Siebert on bass, Cristiano Manoel on drums and Vinicius Cantú on trumpet. They released their first single "Rolê Pela Lagoa" in 2020. The band released a music video for it too and the song already has thousand of plays on Spotify. The band is looking forward to have recognition in other plataforms too.
The trumpet player Vinicius Cantú left the band in 2021. They're still looking forward to what is going to come up in 2021, but for now you can enjoy their single "Rolê Pela Lagoa" and the other live performances available on YouTube from concerts they played in 2020.
