The Dot Wiggin Band, an American rock band fronted by Dot Wiggin, was formed in 2012. Dot Wiggin, known for her role as lead singer and songwriter of the 1960s outsider music band The Shaggs, formed this new group with bassist Jesse Krakow and other backing musicians following a tribute event. The Dot Wiggin Band released their debut album Ready! Get! Go! in 2013 on Jello Biafra's label Alternative Tentacles. The album featured recent songs written by Dot as well as previously unreleased tracks from the Shaggs era. Notable singles include "Banana Bike" and "My Favorite Record". The band opened for Neutral Milk Hotel in 2015, showcasing a live lineup that included members of Bi TYRANT, a feminist hardcore punk band led by Brittany Anjou.
