Susan Dietrich, born in 1948 in Pueblo, Colorado, is an American singer and musician known as the Space Lady, whose music blended synth pop and psychedelic pop. After learning piano, flute, and accordion in her youth, she began performing on Boston and San Francisco streets, gaining local attention and adopting her iconic winged helmet. The Space Lady began touring the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe in 2014, promoting her music through live shows and merchandise. Notable releases included On the Street of Dreams (2018) and Space Lady Has Landed (2018), while collaborations with Eric Schneider expanded her repertoire.
