Olivier Fortin, born on October 29, 1973, in Quebec City, Canada, is a Canadian organist and harpsichordist. Introduced to the harpsichord by his father at age eight, Fortin began formal training under Anatole Gagnon at the Quebec Conservatory of Music, earning his bachelor's degree with distinction in 1995. He furthered his studies with Dom André Laberge and Réjean Poirier, and received scholarships to train with Pierre Hantaï in Paris and Bob van Asperen in Amsterdam. Fortin founded the ensemble Masques in 1998, which won the Early Music America Competition in 2000. He has released several albums, including Weichlein: Encaenia Musices, Opus 1 (Excerpts), 1695 (2015), Le Théâtre Musical de Telemann (2016), and Buxtehude: Abendmusiken (2018).
