Social Dance was born in Marseille in 2020 from the imagination of Faustine, Thomas and Ange. Roommates for several years, the three best friends also bring together their different personalities to nourish the soul, the heart and the head of the project. Inspired by their common experience and their complementary musical tastes, the Marseille triplet lays the foundations of their uninhibited and absurd pop.
We can already detect in their style the crucial influence of trance in Talking Heads, the electronic syncopations of LCD Soundsystem and the spirit of Rita Mitsouko. Through their melodies and frantic rhythms, the group creates an agitated musical communion, a real electrifying and liberating euphoria. Social Dance gives in to the ballet of their emotions and transforms their sensitivity into strength like a thunderclap.
