Gli Angeli Genève

Gli Angeli Genève, a Swiss vocal‑instrumental ensemble founded in 2005 by Stephan MacLeod, specializes in Baroque repertoire. The group first attracted attention with the release of German Baroque Cantatas Vol. 1 in 2008 and German Baroque Cantatas Vol. 2 in 2010 under Sony Classical, establishing a reputation for authentic period performance. In 2018, the ensemble issued 17th Century Sacred Music in Wrocław, followed by Bach's St. Matthew Passion. They joined the Aparté label for the album Josquin Desprez's Malheur me bat. Throughout its career, Gli Angeli Genève has toured across Europe and Canada, recorded live cantata cycles, and collaborated with leading Baroque specialists, solidifying its standing within the early‑music community.
