Grupo Primer Grado are a four-piece norteño/Regional Mexican group from Numarán, Michoacán, formed in 2017, with Jonathan Madrigal handling bajo quinto and lead vocals. They reshaped their direction in 2020 toward a fresher sound built around original writing, and in 2021 they linked up with producer Ricardo Bobadilla, who backed their next phase through De La Calle Al Éxito Records. Their first releases arrived in 2023 with singles such as “Yo Brillo,” “El Freddie,” and “De Profesión Gallero,” alongside collaborations that broadened their circle, including “Mis Amigos” with Los Meros Reyes, “La Mosquita” with Grupo Fernández, and “El De La B” with Los de la B. In 2024 they leaned further into gallera-themed corridos and live performance energy, issuing “En El Palenque,” releasing a new version of “De Profesión Gallero” with Banda AT, and putting out the live set Desde Numarán Vol. 4 (En Vivo). A bigger step followed in 2025: the single “Todo a Su Tiempo” set up their 11-track album Todo a Su Tiempo, which included “Soy Millonario” and helped define their writing-first approach. They kept the momentum into late 2025 with singles like “LMS” and “Mañana,” then opened 2026 with Desde Numarán En Vivo Vol.5, a live-focused release built around band-style renditions and crowd-ready arrangements.
