Myka Relocate, formed in 2007 by Austin Doré, Sam Albarado, and Garrett Hawkins in Lafayette, Louisiana, was an American metalcore band. They evolved into a Houston‑based metalcore ensemble that blended electronic elements, guttural screams, and pop vocals. The group self‑released Self Portrait as a Frozen Father in 2008, followed by the EP …And of Monsters in 2009. After a series of lineup changes, they signed with Artery Recordings in 2013 and issued Lies to Light the Way in 2013, reaching number 22 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart. In 2015, the band launched The Young Souls, featuring singles "New Again", "Cold Hearts", "Bring You Home", and "Damage". Touring extensively with acts such as Slaves and Capture the Crown, Myka Relocate announced a hiatus in late 2017, and vocalist Michael Swank confirmed the band’s dissolution on October 30, 2020. They reunited in 2025 for two shows.
