Jordan (Jordan René Salinas Guerra, born December 8, 1983, in Santiago) is a Chilean tropical singer, songwriter, and producer whose career began in neighborhood groups before he stepped into the national cumbia circuit. In the early 2000s he became the lead voice of Voltaje, recording material that broke widely through songs like “Y Ahora Regresas,” then left to form La Fórmula, where he fronted the album Volver a Nacer and helped define the band’s romantic cumbia profile. In 2009 he launched his solo path, continuing to work in band formats while building his own catalog through releases such as Jordán y La Fórmula (2010) and Jordan y Tú (2012), followed by Éxitos del Sound (2013), which also highlighted his taste for collaborations. A key solo milestone arrived with ¿Y qué pasó...? (2015), led by the title track and supported by staples from his live repertoire like “Fuera” and “Compañera de Mi Vida.” From there, Jordan became a regular name on major Chilean festival stages, including Festival del Huaso de Olmué (2018) and Talca’s Fiesta de la Independencia (2019), and he also took part in a Camilo Sesto tribute at Viña del Mar (2020). In the 2020s he released the studio albums Supercumbia Vol. 1 (2022), and Supercumbia Vol. 2 (2025), which featured contributions from A.B. Quintanilla III ("Yo Te Sigo Queriendo"), Garras de Amor ("Bésame, Sin Miedo"), and Paskual y Su Alegría ("Locura de Amor (La Nota)")
