Lifesigns, an English progressive rock band, was conceived in 2008 by lead singer and keyboardist John Young. The group's initial lineup included sound engineer Steve Rispin, bassist Nick Beggs, and drummer Martin "Frosty" Beedle. Lifesigns released their self-titled debut album in February 2013, featuring guest appearances from progressive rock legends such as Steve Hackett and Jakko Jakszyk. The band began live performances in 2014, including notable appearances on the "Cruise to the Edge" and at venues across Europe. In September 2017, Lifesigns released their second studio album, Cardington, which reached number 20 on the Independent Albums Chart and number 76 on the Physical Albums Chart in the UK. The band's third studio album, Altitude, was produced during the COVID-19 pandemic and released in March 2021. Lifesigns released their live album, Live in the Netherlands, in July 2023.
