Alexander Viktorovich Kutikov is a Russian rock musician, composer, and producer born on 13 April 1952 in Moscow. He achieved professional recognition as the bass guitarist and vocalist for the ensemble Mashina Vremeni, which he joined in 1971. Between 1974 and 1979, he performed with the group Leap Summer before rejoining Mashina Vremeni. He composed the music and performed vocals for the track “Povorot” (1979). The ensemble achieved professional recognition for the soundtrack to the film Dusha (1981). In 1987, Kutikov established the sound recording company Sintez Records. His recording career includes the solo studio recordings Tantsy na kryshe (1990) and Demony lyubvi (2009). He received the Order of Honour (1999) and the title of Merited Artist of the Russian Federation (1999). His discography includes the compilation The Best. Mashina vremeni (2002) and the solo studio recording Beskonechnomgnovenno (2016).
