Jan Oebele Mulder, also known as Jan Mulder, born on March 6, 1963, in Rotterdam, Netherlands, is a Dutch pianist, composer, and conductor. He studied under Romanian pianist Anca Manu and at the Rotterdam Conservatory with Elly Salomé. In 1992, Mulder began composing music for his solo albums and concerts. His early works include Écossaise (2001) and Écossaise 2 (2001). Notable collaborations include The Glorious Album with Thijs van Leer and the Nieuw Sinfoniëtta Amsterdam. Jan Mulder's album Love Divine (2013) achieved gold and platinum status within ten weeks of its release, reaching Number One on Classic FM’s Top 20 best-selling CDs and earning a nomination for Instrumental Album of the Year at the GMA Dove Awards in 2014. His music is popular in over 20 countries. In 2007, he founded the Beethoven Foundation, supporting young musicians' education.
