Born and raised in Los Angeles, Kingston Rossdale is an alternative artist, songwriter, and producer. Picking up the guitar at age 8, Kingston began discovering and developing his own sound, like so many, writing and experimenting with music in his bedroom. His songs offer glimpses into his life, drawing from personal experiences with relationships, loss, anxiety, mental health, and those moments that shape who we become. Inspired by Midwest emo guitar work alongside the alternative, indie, rock and pop of the '80s and '90s, Kingston blends textured guitars, soaring melodies, and atmospheric production into a sound that feels both nostalgic and distinctly his own.As personal as the music is it still is universally relatable. Taking a hands-on approach to both songwriting and production, he focuses on the details and emotion that give each song its identity while staying true to the feeling that inspired it in the first place. Together, these songs offer an honest introduction to Kingston’s perspective and the sound he has been developing.
