Tom created his studio project in 2011 on his own, initially having in mind the goal of composing exclusively instrumental music. Mastering bass and guitar, he finally decided to bring some musicians for collaboration. It’s from there, with his old friend Bad Drunk, that the idea to create their own setup sprang to their mind. A little time later, the name “The Velvet Roses” was born.
Influenced principally by Grunge, Hard Rock and Metal, The Velvet Roses have created their identity on the basis of these sounds that marked the ’90s.
