Kenneth Keshavan Maslak, known professionally as Kenny Millions, and born on February 26, 1947, in Detroit, Michigan, is a jazz multi-instrumentalist. He began studying music at age five and started working professionally by 12. After high school, Maslak studied music and psychology at various universities. In the late 1960s, he played with Motown touring bands. Moving to New York City in 1972, Maslak became a key figure in the loft scene, performing at venues like the Kitchen and Village Vanguard. He developed his conceptual style of musical performance, known as Multiplexmulti, and invented the Hum Ha Horn. From 1978 to 1981, he lived in Amsterdam, playing with avant-garde jazz groups and recording for European labels. Notable albums include Mayhem in Our Streets (1980), Humanplexity (1980), and Loved By Millions (1981). Maslak collaborated with numerous artists, including Hannibal Lokumbe, Paul Bley, and Jack DeJohnette.
