Disen Gage, a Russian rock band from Moscow, was formed in 1999 by Yuri Alaverdyan and Konstantin Mochalov on guitars, Nikolay Syrtsev on bass guitar, and Eugeniy Kudryashov on drums. Despite gaining popularity among intellectual and student communities, the band initially disbanded due to academic pursuits at the Moscow Institute of Bio-Organic Chemistry. Their debut album, The Screw-Loose Entertainment, was released in 2004 by RAIG music label and received positive reviews from various international sources. The success prompted the band's resumption of activities, though Yuri Alaverdyan left for an academic career abroad later that year. In 2006, Disen Gage released Libertage, followed by ...The reverse may be true in 2008, both receiving high marks from critics worldwide. Subsequent releases included Snapshots (2016) and Hybrid State (2017).
