Born and raised in Kenya, Eric Ananda’s relationship with music began long before he could fully articulate why. Guitar came first, then piano, and by nine he was playing harmonies on a clarinet in a school orchestra. Without knowing it, that early classical foundation nurtured an intrigue: how silence could be just as intentional as sound.
Over time his path wound through rock, hip-hop, and electronic music; each genre leaving its imprint, shaping a new dimension of his influences. Alongside crafting worlds through words, Eric operates on both sides of the glass, as the producer architecting the sound and the artist living inside it. His 2021 EP Drive offered the first full glimpse of this identity.
Now he arrives with Sunsets and Daydreams, his debut album and the opening instalment of something far larger.
