Spirits of Fire is an American/Italian supergroup formed in July 2017 by Los Angeles-based guitarist and producer Roy Z. The band consists of Chris Caffery on guitars, Steve Di Giorgio on bass, Mark Zonder on drums, and Fabio Lione on lead vocals. Initially, Tim "Ripper" Owens was the lead vocalist but left in 2021. Their debut album, Spirits of Fire, was released on February 22, 2019, via Frontiers Records, with Roy Z producing and Alessandro Del Vecchio contributing keyboards. The first single from this album, "Light Speed Marching," was released on November 15, 2018. Following Owens' departure, Fabio Lione joined the band in December 2021, leading to the release of their second album, Embrace the Unknown, on February 28, 2022, also via Frontiers Records.
