Mixing hypnotic rhythms and explosive tension, Grand Public offers a music built of angular textures and aerial melodies. The guitars intermingle and respond to each other, while the bass and percussion insert themselves into the vocal tunes.
The band being made up of Gregory Paquet (The Stills, Molly Rankin of Alvvays, Peter Peter) and three childhood friends, Alex Landry, Mathieu Leclerc et Joé Pelletier, who have played together in several bands, including Reviews since 2017. Reviews having shared the stage with Corridor, Omni and several others, the members of Grand Public already have several years of experience.
Grand Public took advantage of the pandemic era to bring the project to a boil, refining their sound and writing several songs, four of them recently recorded with producer Dominic Vanchesteing (Bernardino Femminielli, Marie Davidson, Julia Daigle).
