Clarence Edwards, born on March 25, 1933, in Lindsay, Louisiana, was an American blues musician. He began his musical journey in the mid-1950s with local bands like the Boogie Beats and the Bluebird Kings. In the late 1980s, he gained recognition as a blues performer, assisted by producer and manager Stephen Coleridge. His notable recordings include "Lonesome Bedroom Blues" and "I Want Somebody". He released several albums, including Swampin' in 1991 and Louisiana Swamp Blues, Vol. 4 in 1993. He performed on the national blues festival circuit, and his work was posthumously remastered and issued on the CD Swamps the Word. He passed away on May 20, 1993, at the age of 60. The compilation album I Looked Down That Railroad was released in 2003.
