Kevin Kimaro (born 9 August 1999) known professionally as Kevo Maro, is a Namibian rapper and songwriter. In 2018, he signed a partnership deal with DBS Music, a subsidiary of the powerhouse DBS Africa. The young rapper rose to prominence with the release of the song “18COLD”, as the youngest artist to reach number one on the Base FM top 10 chart in 2018. He then went on to become the youngest artist in Namibia to have a number one selling debut album on iTunes(Nam) with the release of his much anticipated 2020 album titled “Hella Dilemma”. The young trailblazer also managed to get his body of work amongst the most streamed albums on Deezer(Nam) along side 17K+ streams on Donluafrica.
Notable co-signs from Namibian industry giants like Brain The Tool(Who shares production credits on the album), KP Illest, Skrypt, Lioness just to name a few were well on the way before and after the release.
