Martin Levac, born November 10, 1971, in Longueuil, a southern suburb of Montreal, is a Quebec musician. He received his first toy drum set at age eight and formed his first band, Chester-Phil, with schoolmates at thirteen. He gained prominence through his impersonation of Phil Collins, notably as the drummer and vocalist for The Musical Box, a Genesis tribute band, from 2002 to 2007. His debut album, L’amour ou le sexe, was released in 2000, followed by Influences in 2006. His collaborations include performances with Daryl Stuermer and Amy Keys. He has released several albums, including A Visible Jazz Touch of Genesis (2011), 1985 (2015), and Six (2018). His work often pays homage to the music of Phil Collins and Genesis, with notable performances in Europe, the United States, and South America.
