Alanas Ibrahimas Chošnau, also known as Alan Choshnau, born on July 11, 1974, is a Lithuanian music performer. Raised by his grandparents after returning to Lithuania from Iraq at age eight, Chošnau began his music career as the frontman of Naktinės Personos in 1992. The band released several albums and singles between 1993 and 2001, earning multiple awards such as Band of the Year and Album of the Year. In 1997, Chošnau was involved in a road accident that temporarily paralyzed his legs, but he recovered. After Naktinės Personos split in 2001, Chošnau pursued a solo career, releasing several albums by 2009, including Pusiau atmerktos akys and "Laiškas ant sniego", which won Best Song of the Year in 2003. Chošnau's solo work earned him numerous awards, including Best Performer of the Year and Golden Disc for his albums, Pusiau Atmerktos Akys and Akustinis Koncertas Tamsoje.
