Mehdi R2M is a French-Tunisian artist who writes, composes and interprets his texts and songs.
He started out as an RNB artist and his music never stopped evolving throughout his career, mixing
incisive lyrics, Arabic melodies and rhythms found in Rap, Reggae, Pop or Electro.
The heart of Mehdi's art remains the writing. His passion for words and semantics gave him a talent to
play with words or figures of speech. He is inspired by current events, society and his vision of the
world to write his songs. He fills them with sentiments, black or offbeat humor and a touch of
provocation. Several titles have enabled him to attract a large audience: "Obama" (2010), "Ena
Tounsi" (2011) or "Ness Herba" (2016).
Mehdi R2M is a hard worker and a multifaceted artist who doesn’t hesitate to work in various fields,
such as acting, credits, commercials, soundtracks or children's songs. For three years, he
experienced the creation of weekly parodies on television and a daily musical column on the radio.
Working in so many different fields brought a new dynamic to his musical creations and make his
creative universe constantly evolve.
The stage is also at the heart of his activity through his involvement in many national and international
festivals (Carthage Festival, Tunisian Song Festival, Carthage Film Days...).
He is now composing his songs using DAWs, which gives him a total freedom in his musical
compositions and allows him to create an artistic world of his own.
