Caroline Sageman, born on August 29, 1973, in Paris, is a French classical pianist. She began piano lessons at six and debuted with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France at nine, performing Haydn's piano concerto in D major. At 13, she entered the Conservatoire de Paris, studying under Germaine Mounier, and won the 6th prize at the XII International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw at 17. Sageman performed internationally and released albums dedicated to Franz Liszt in 2004 and Frédéric Chopin in 2002 and 2011. In 2010, she created the musical show Chopin, Musset, les doubles romantiques with Patrick Bruel. She premiered contemporary works by Arnaud Petit and Bruno Giner. Alongside her concert career, Sageman worked as an assistant to Jean-Marc Luisada at the École normale de musique de Paris Alfred Cortot and taught at the Conservatory of Blanc-Mesnil. Other album releases included Ludwig van Beethoven (2012).
