Jean-Luc Ho is a French harpsichordist and organist born in 1984. He began his musical studies at age eight, learning the harpsichord before initiating training on the organ and clavichord. In 2006, he graduated from the Conservatoire de Paris-CNSMDP, receiving First Prizes in harpsichord under Olivier Baumont and basso continuo under Blandine Rannou. Ho launched his recording career in 2011 with the album Bach - Couperin, which received critical recognition from Diapason and Le Monde. He has recorded the complete “Sonates pour violon et clavecin” by J.S. Bach and released the 2015 album Byrd: Walsingham. Ho frequently collaborates with musicians such as Raphaële Kennedy and Lucile Richardot and performs with ensembles under the direction of Hervé Niquet. He is a co-initiator of the project L'Art de la fugue, which involved the installation of a 1768 Spanish organ in Fresnes. Since 2012, Ho has served as a professor at the Académie de Claviers Anciens de Dieppe.
