Subgiant, a UK electronic music trio formed in London in 2000, consisted of Olly Maw, Dan Hayes, and Tushar Joshi. The group initially began as a dub act when Maw and Hayes met in 2000. In 2004, Joshi joined the electro drums after meeting the duo at the Blissfields festival. Subgiant's album, Advances in Twig Technology, was released in 2005 under Blissfields Records. The band quickly gained traction on the UK festival circuit, performing at Glastonbury in 2004 and Bestival in 2005. Their second album, Global Control, followed in the same year. Subgiant continued to release music, including the single "All Day (Remixes)" in 2013 and "Monsters Incorporated" in 2014. The group has performed at various festivals worldwide, including Blissfields and Glade Festival, and headlined the Maker Sunshine Solstice Festival in 2013.
