Senninsho is a Japanese rapper and beatmaker, known for his work as a solo artist and as a member of the hip-hop collective MONJU and formerly of DOWN NORTH CAMP. He began his solo career in 2011 with the mixtape "Live On Refugee The Mixtape", followed by several 7-inch releases and the limited album Be In One's Element (2013). That album's remix version became his first widely distributed solo work. Over the years, Senninsho has built a strong underground following with his introspective lyrics and raw production style, collaborating with notable producers like GRADIS NICE, 16FLIP, BUDAMUNK, and ILLSUGI. In 2016, he released his first official album VOICE, followed by extensive touring. In 2018, he released the EP Word From… and the single "Show Off", leading up to his acclaimed second album BOY MEETS WORLD, released on June 27, 2018. The album was supported by the BOY MEETS WORLD 4 CITY TOUR and later spawned a remix version in 2019. Senninsho continues to evolve, collaborating with SEKTION RED in 2020 and releasing the joint album 82\_01 with S-kaine in 2023.
