Camila Meza, born on July 22, 1985, in Santiago, Chile, is a Chilean jazz guitarist, singer, and songwriter. She studied with Jorge Vidal and Jorge Díaz, drawing inspiration from jazz guitarists including George Benson and Pat Metheny. Her first recording was Giovanni Cultrera, Espinoza y Cia (Navidad en Jazz) (2005), followed by her debut album, Skylark (2007). In 2009, she moved to New York to study guitar at The New School with Peter Bernstein, Vic Juris, and Steve Cardenas. She worked on the New York jazz scene, collaborating with Ryan Keberle, Lucas Pino, and Fabian Almazan. She led her own jazz octet, The Nectar Orchestra, and recorded Traces (2016) for Sunnyside Records. Her notable achievements include winning two Independent Music Awards for Best Adult Contemporary Album and Best Latin Song for "Para Volar" (2016). Her subsequent releases include the album Ambar (2019) with The Nectar Orchestra.
