The Punkles, a German punk rock band, formed in 1998 in Hamburg. The group was known for their unique style of performing covers of The Beatles' songs with a punk twist. Initially a side project of Prollhead!, The Punkles gained traction through extensive European tours and notable collaborations, including a joint tour with Beatallica in October 2005. Their debut album, The Punkles, was released in 1998 under Wolverine Records. The band's subsequent albums, such as Pistol (2003) and The Punkles for Sale (2006), achieved significant chart success in Europe and Japan, with both entering the Top 50 in Japan. Despite their popularity, The Punkles disbanded in 2006 without any public appearances since then.
