Jördis Tielsch is a German singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist born on July 18, 1995, in Wetzlar, Germany. She began her musical education at age six, focusing on the violin. Her breakthrough came through collaborations with the German a cappella group Wise Guys. Tielsch released her first two EPs, Jördis by Heart (Vol. 1) (2009) and Jördis by Heart (Vol. 2) (2011), at ages 13 and 15 respectively. Her debut album Die kleinen Dinge was released in 2012. In August 2015, she made her first live television appearance on ZDF-Fernsehgarten. Tielsch collaborated with various artists, including Heinz Rudolf Kunze's band Verstärkung and Rea Garvey’s band during the Free European Song Contest in May 2021. She also accompanied Purple Schulz on his tours from 2024 to 2025. Tielsch received several awards, including the Förderpreis der Hanns-Seidel-Stiftung for young songwriters in 2025. Other notable releases include the studio albums Stille Nacht (2014) and New Mornings (2022), the EPs Kopfüber (2019) and Bring mich zurück (2025), and the singles "Sehnsucht nach Leben" (2015) and "What Are You Waiting For" (2022).
