Tex La Homa is a Dorset, UK-based post-rock project formed in the year 2000 by Matthew Shaw, handling guitar, keyboards, vocals, and other instruments. He released their debut album Dazzle Me with Transience in 2001. The project embarked on extensive tours from late 2003 through 2004, performing across England, Denmark, the USA, France, Spain, Switzerland, Ireland, and Scotland. His second album, If Just Today Were to Be My Entire Life, was released on Talitres Records in Europe and Hybrid Electric Records in the USA in 2004. In 2008, Acuarela released Little Flashes of Sunlight on a Cold Dark Sea, an acclaimed album that received critical praise. He collaborated with Italian band Sparkle in Grey for the split release Whale Heart, Whale Heart in 2010.
