Andrés David Saldarriaga known in the artistic world as David Zahan, salsa singer from the city of Medellín, born on June 19, 1984.
Since he was young he showed his talent and love for this genre, starting his musical career and with a trajectory of 18 years, he produced his first songs on the digital records label, then he moved to the yas music label and today he is signed with the renowned company Codiscos where he is working on his new album.
Until the year 2018, after rejecting several invitations, he is presented to the program Yo Me Llamo, playing the late Frankie Ruiz (the father of salsa), he participates and manages to reach the finals where he is unfortunately eliminated, but for his time in the reality achieves a great reception not only in Colombia but internationally.
David has performed in countries such as Spain, Italy, France, Switzerland, Malta, Australia, Canada, Mexico, Peru, Venezuela, Ecuador, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Argentina, Chile and Panama.
David has been nominated 3 times for Best Tropical Artist and Best Tropical Song at the renowned Nuestra Tierra Awards.
He has shared the stage with great salsa artists such as Tito Nieves, Victor Manuelle, Rey Ruiz, Andy Montañez, Adolescentes Orquesta, Son de Cali, Nino Segarra, Miles Peña, Tony Vega, Willy Gonzales, Pedro Arroyo, Paquito Guzman, Willy Camacho, among others.
His extensive discography includes 3 albums: ‘Reviviendo a Frankie Ruiz, vol.1’, ‘Reviviendo a Frankie Ruiz, vol.2’ and ‘Mi Momento Llegó’, as well as close to 30 singles featuring together with Nino Segarra and Los Andrade.
