Wijlen Wij was a Belgian funeral doom band formed in 2002 by Kostas Panagiotou, Stijn van Cauter, and Lawrence van Haecke. The group initially served as a side project to their main bands, aiming to create desolate and bleak music. Kris Villez joined the band in 2003. Wijlen Wij began recording their debut album, Wijlen Wij, at Templa Libitina Studio in Erembodegem in 2004, completing it two years later due to personal commitments. The album was mastered by Greg Chandler of Esoteric and released in 2007 via Aesthetic Death Records. In 2010, they contributed to the compilation Unveiling the Signs through Redrum 666. Their second studio album, Coronachs Of The Ω, was released in 2014 by Solitude Productions and marked their official disbandment.
