Piotr Górny, known professionally as donGURALesko, was born on March 8, 1980, in Poznań, Poland. He began his career in the Polish hip-hop scene in the mid-1990s as a member of Rapscalion X, which later became Killaz Group. He launched his solo career with Opowieści z betonowego lasu (2002), followed by albums including Drewnianej małpy rock (2005), El Polako (2008), and Totem leśnych ludzi (2010), the latter of which reached number one on Poland's OLiS albums chart. His subsequent releases include Zaklinacz deszczu (2011), Projekt jeden z życia moment (2012), Magnum Ignotum: Preludium (2015), Dom otwartych drzwi (2017), Miłość, szmaragd i krokodyl (2019), Mowa ciemna (2022), and Ucieczka z kina Wolność (2023). Continuing his recording career, donGURALesko released Miejskie Ptaki (2024), ATLAS (2025), and STROMO (2026).
