Trash Kit are a British post-punk trio from London that formed in 2008. The ensemble consists of the guitarist and vocalist Ray Aggs, the drummer and vocalist Rachel Horwood, and the bassist Gill Partington, the latter of whom replaced the original member Ros Murray. They achieved a professional breakthrough after performing at the Yes Way festival, leading to a recording contract with Upset The Rhythm. Their debut eponymous studio album, Trash Kit, was released (2010) following the single “Teenagers” (2010). The group followed this with the recording Confidence (2014), which featured the saxophonist Verity Susman. In 2017, the ensemble received notable recognition when Thurston Moore highlighted them in an article for NME. Their discography also includes the studio album Horizon (2019), which featured contributions from the saxophonist Dan Leavers.
