Peter Elkas, born on July 24, 1976 in Montreal, Canada, is a musician who began his career with the alternative rock band the Local Rabbits, joining them as a teenager in 1990 and recording several albums. In 2004, Elkas released his solo debut Party of One. He followed with Wall of Fire (2007) produced by Charlie Sexton, Repeat Offender (2011), and the EP Lion (2018) under the Peter Elkas Band. In 2025, he contributed a cover of Joel Plaskett’s “Beyond, Beyond, Beyond” to the tribute album Songs from the Gang.
