The Heart and The Void is the stage name of Enrico Spanu, a singer-songwriter hailing from Sardinia, an island in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea, with eyes and ears focused on american and british folk/pop music. He toured extensively all around Italy and was chosen as opening act for artists like Miles Kane, CALLmeKAT, Marika Hackman, Johnny Flynn and he also supported Stu Larsen and Natsuki Kurai in part of their European tour in October 2018.He released two EPs Like a Dancer (2013) and A Softer Skin (Sangue Disken, 2014). His first full length - The Loneliest of Wars - was released in January 2018.The single Waiting For / All That We'll Ever Be featuring two songs written for the short movie "Waiting For", directed by Matteo Pianezzi, was released in June 2018. A single entitled You was released in July 2019 featuring harmonica from Natsuki Kurai .
