Incite is an American groove/thrash metal band formed in Phoenix, Arizona, in 2004, fronted by vocalist Richie Cavalera. The band emerged from Richie Cavalera’s connection to his stepfather Max Cavalera, with early releases including the EP Murder (2006) and Divided We Fail (2007). Their debut studio album The Slaughter (2009) was followed by All Out War (2012), produced by Logan Mader, and Up in Hell (2014). Subsequent albums Oppression (2016), Built to Destroy (2019), Wake Up Dead (2022), and Savage New Times (2025) expanded their catalog, with singles such as "Just a Rat" and "No Mercy No Forgiveness". The band has toured with Soulfly and The Dillinger Escape Plan, and their work has been featured on the Maximum Cavalera Tour, solidifying their presence within the metal community.
